“The Two Faces of Easter” poem by Ercole Bonjean: english and italian version

The Two Faces of Easter
How many chocolate eggs of various colors in the supermarkets.
Fake doves of peace filled with sugar and almonds.
So much food to enjoy for those who have money, so many empty tables.
Another holiday that searches for a reason for its being.
A man met a poor person and extended his hand.
A child hugged his mother and gave her comfort.
Three women went to Calvary of the Resurrection.
It is Easter, the bells of life resound.
